Abstract
Objective To investigate the efficacy and safety of the adjuvant treatment with different drugs after conservative endometriosis surgery. Methods Eighty patients diagnosed with endometriosis by laparoscopy and receiving conservative surgery were randomly divided into the diphereline group with 30 patients and the mifepristone group with 50 patients. The two groups were given diphereline and mifeprstone respectively for 6 months. The dysmenorrhea symptoms, postoperative recurrence and pregnancy rate after drug withdrawal were taken as the clinical efficacy indicators; The abnormal vaginal bleeding, weight gain and liver damage were taken as the evaluation indicators of side effects; The clinical efficacy and adverse reactions of the two groups were compared. Results Four patients of the diphereline group withdrew from the study due to the expenses,so 26 patients were included into the diphereline group. The two groups had no statistically significant difference in each clinical efficacy indicators. The diphereline group(3.8%) was lower than the mifepristone group(22.4%)in the abnormal vaginal bleeding rate, with statistically significant difference(P 0.05);The two groups had no statistically significant difference in the weight gain and the liver damage rate. Conclusion Diphereline and mifepristone have no significant difference in the efficacy after endometriosis surgery.Diphereline shows higher safety, but its high expense restricts its clinical promotion.Taking all factors into consideration, mifepristone is a more ideal postoperative adjuvant drug.
