This study compared letrozole versus danazol for pelvic pain management in 140 females diagnosed with endometriosis via diagnostic laparoscopy, using purposive non-probability sampling and measuring pain with visual analogue scale (VAS) scores over 3 months. Patients received letrozole 2.5 mg/day (group A) or danazol 600 mg/day (group B), and the primary outcome was the mean decrease in VAS pain score analyzed with an independent-samples t-test. After treatment, mean VAS pain scores were 2.01±0.95 in the letrozole group and 2.78±0.99 in the danazol group, with a reported greater mean pain-score decrease for danazol (3.06±1.23) than letrozole (1.02±1.09), both with p-values reported as 0.00.
