Abstract
Endometriosis is a common gynecologic disease which causes menorrhalgia, abdominal pain and pareuniaalia, etc.Because the mechanism is unclear, there is no special treatment for it.Recently, more and more evidence has proved that the endometrium of non uterine cavity may be activated to produce new blood vessell and adhere to the surrounding tissues.Cell adhesion molecules play an important role in this progress. This article reviews the cause of endometriosis and the relationship between cell adhesion molecules and endometriosis.
