Abstract

Case report on endometriosis of the recto-sigmoid which caused intestinal stenosis. Concomitant endometriosis of the right ovary was removed by a right salpingo-oophorectomy. The recto-sigmoid endometriosis was resected and intestinal continuity established by the pull through method of Hollenbach preserving the anal sphincter. The patient was well 6 years following the operation.
