Abstract

PharmVR is an innovative Computer Assisted Learning (CAL) platform designed to transform experimental pharmacology education through immersive Virtual Reality (VR) simulations and AI-driven interactive learning. Developed as an advanced alternative to traditional animal experiments, PharmVR enables pharmacy, medical, and veterinary students to perform realistic, 3D virtual experiments aligned with the curriculum standards of the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and National Medical Commission (NMC).The platform integrates gamified learning modules, real-time performance scoring, and an intelligent virtual tutor that adapts to individual learning styles. In a move toward inclusive education, PharmVR supports multilingual access, offering content in major Indian languages to break language barriers across diverse regions. The simulation environment replicates laboratory conditions with high fidelity, allowing students to practice, observe, and understand drug effects on virtual animal models in an ethical, engaging, and risk-free setting.Currently in its developmental stage, PharmVR has secured all necessary intellectual property protections including trademarks and patents, and is registered under India's MSME initiative. By combining advanced technology with educational innovation, PharmVR aims to set a new standard for digital pharmacology education in India and beyond.
