It has potential to achieve subcellular topographical imaging alongside chemical mapping via vacuum nanoelectrospray soft ionization with tunable energy for broad range of analyte detection. Demonstrated on a model imaging system, the workflow links morphology and molecular analysis concurrently within the same analytical environment. The BeamMap approach aims to expand discovery-driven single-cell and multiomics investigations across diverse biological samples and tissues.
