Abstract

Objective To observe and explore the clinical treatment effect for laparoscopic surgery in the treatment of ovarian endometrial cysts. Methods 50 patients undergoing endometriosis cyst surgery admitted to our hospital from January 2010 to October 2012 were divided into observation group (30 cases) and control group (20 cases). The observation group was treated with laparoscopic ovarian endometriotic cystectomy, and the control group was treated with conventional abdominal hysterectomy endometriosis cystectomy. The difference of operative blood loss, mean operative time, clinical treatment effect for the two groups was observed and compared. Results The blood loss, mean operative time, length of stay, antibiotic use time and analgesic drugs used in the observation group was significantly lower than the control group, with statistically significant the difference(P 0.05). The total efficiency in the observation group and the control group had no significant difference (P 0.05), but the efficiency in the observation group was significantly higher than the control group, with statistically significant the difference (P 0.05). Conclusion Laparoscopic surgery in the treatment of ovarian endometriosis cyst has the advantages of less trauma, less pain, less bleeding, faster recovery, shorter hospital stay and better clinical outcomes compared with traditional open surgery.
