Abstract
Objective To ascertain the value of laparoscopic partial cystectomy in the treatment of bladder endometriosis.Methods Five cases of bladder endometriosis who were administered the surgery of laparoscopic partial cystectomy in Peking Union Medical College Hospital between Jan.2006 and Aug.2008 were analyzed.Results The bladder lesion of five cases was excised completely by laparoscopy.There was complete relief of all the symptoms and no complications occurred.There was no recurrence in the following 8 to 24 months.Conclusion Laparoscopic partial cystectomy is the first choice of treatment for bladder endometriosis because of its minimal invasiveness,safety and effectiveness.
