Evaluation of interleukin- 6 levels in serum of patients with Adenomyosis
OA: closed
Abstract
The IL-6 levels in serum obtained from 28 AM patients and 24 gynecological benign disease controls and 15 normal controls were determined by ELISA. Il-6 in patients with adenomysis (99.06±61.30pg/ml) was significantly higher than that in controls (24.33±13.60pg/ml and 4.91±4.73pg/ml). When compared with secretory phage (95.71±54.92pg/ml), the level of IL-6 in proliferative phage in AM (101.00±66.09pg/ml) did not change significantly. Over expression if IL-6 can augment the growth and secretion of adenomyosis cells.
