Expression and clinical significance of KISS-1 and GPR54 mRNA in endometriosis(EMT)

Objective To explore the expression and clinical significance of KISS-1 mRNA and GPR54 mRNA in endometriosis(EMT).Methods Real-time RT-PCR was used to detect KISS-1 and GPR54 mRNA level in ectopic / eutopic endometrium of patients with EMT and normal endometrium.Results KISS-1 mRNA level was significantly down-regulated in ectopic / eutopic endometrium of patients with EMT compared with normal endometrium(P0.01).GPR54 mRNA expression level was a little higher in ectopic endometrium of patients with EMT than both eutopic endometrium of patients with EMT and normal endometrium,but there was no statistical difference between them(P0.05).Conclusion The down-regulated expression of KISS-1 plays an important role in genesis of EMT.
