Abstract

Objective To find out if the adding of short-effect GnRH-a in ultra-long protocol of endometriosis will do some benefits. Methods We compared the Gn duration and ampoules, retrieved oocytes numbers, clinical pregnancy rate, and abortion rate between the control group without the adding of short-effecct GnRH-a and the subject group statistically. Results There were no significant differences in Gn amount and duration, retrieved oocytes number, fertility rate, and cleavage rate between the two groups. The pregnancy rate, implantation rate, abortion rate, and cryopreservation rate of the two groups were not different statistically. The ongoing pregnancy rate of the control group was higher than that of the subject group statistically. Conclusions The adding of short-effect GnRH-a in ultralong protocol of endometriosis can not reduce the Gn amount and the Gn days. The number of oocytes retrieved are not increased through the adding. The adding doesn't affect the clinical outcomes statistically as well.
