The correlation between changes of T Lymphocyte subsets,intercellular adhesion molecule-1 and endometriosis

Objective To investigate relationship between the changes of T lymphocyte subsets and intercellular adhesion molecule-1(ICAM-1) in endometriosis.Methods 40 endometriosis patients were selected as EMT group,40 healthy as control group.The levels of soluble intercellular adhesion molecule-1(sICAM-1),IFN-γ、IL-4and T Lymphocyte Subsets in two groups were measured respectively.Results The percentage of CD4+T cells,CD4/CD8,sICAM-1,IL-4 were increased while CD3+T cells,CD8+T cells,IFN-γ were decreased in those with endometriosis(P0.05).Conclusion Immune dysfunction exert certain effects on the pathogenesis and progression of endometriosis.
