Abstract
In this study, a new method of synthesizing large amount highly fluorescent MoS 2 quantum dots is presented. This low environmental impact ,ultrafast ,saving energy method can synthesize a large number of MoS 2 quantum dots(QDs). Using the NaCl crystal particles sharp edge that are insoluble in the supersaturated NaCl solution combined with the shear force generated by the press shaker to cut the MoS 2 bulk material to form MoS 2 QDs.Large amount highly fluorescent MoS 2 quantum dots in a matter of 3 min using the NaCl crystal as a sustainable cutting agent. The prepared MoS 2 QDs were characterized by TEM ,FESEM ,EDX ,DLS ,XPS, UV-vis Spectroscopy ,Florescence Spectroscopy analyses. Furthermore, this ultrafast, low energy consumption, green process may offer a potential major advance for production of other QDs materials from bulk material.
