Abstract
A process for preparing the general leonurine includes such steps as decocting the motherwort in water 2-3 times, concentrating, depositing in alcohol for 12-48 hr, adding the filtrate to resin column (or bed), flushing with water, flushing with hydrochloric acid or alkali solution, eluting, concentrating and refining. Said general leonurine can be used to prepare the medicines for treating endometriosis and reducing the estrin level.
