Laparoscopy combined with hysteroscopy in the treatment of infertility female

Objective:To assess the value of laparoscopy combined with hysteroscopy in diagnosis and treatment of the female infertility.Methods:From July 2001 to July 2003,217 infertile patients were treated by laparoscopy combined with hysteroscopy.The procedures included salpingo-ovariolysis,salpinyostomy,endocoagulation of endometriosis enucleation of endometriotic implants in the ovary,hysteroscopic resection of uterinefibroids and septateuterus.Results:Of the 175 patients followed up in 1～36 months,67 patients got pregnant.Conclusion:Laparoscopycombined with hysteroscopy can not only diagnose the cause of infertility but also cure some patients,it provides a simple and effective way with less injury and quicker recovery.
