Current Status of Research on Canceration of Endometriosis

Endometriosis is a common benign gynecologic disease with extensive clinical and pathological features of pleomorphic,similar biological behavior of malignant tumors.It is reported that endometriosis may experience a series of pathologic change courses and finally become a malignant tumor.Currently the etiology and pathogenesis of malignant transformation is not clear.This article reviewed current status of research on occurrence and development of canceration of endometriosis including the incidence,risk factors,clinical manifestations,diagnosis and the relationship between with atypical endometriosis and canceration of endometriosis.
