Clinical Study of Eleng Capsule on Dysmenorrhea Patients with Endometriosis

Objective:To observe the effect of Eleng Capsule on dysmenorrhea patients with Endomertriosis.Methods :Sixty patients were randomized into two groups :treatment group in which 30 cases were treated by Eleng Capsule and control group in which 30 cases were treated by gestrinone.Dysmenorrhea scores,the serum levels of EmAb and CA125 before and after treatment were compared.Results :The Scores of dysmenorrhea were significantly reduced after treatment,and also the high serum levels of CA125 and EmAb were significantly reduced in both of the two groups(P0.05).There was not any significant difference between Eleng group and gestrinone group(P0.05).Conclusion :Eleng Capsule can effectively relieves the dysmenorrhea of endometriosis of qi-stagnation and blood—stasis syndrome possibly by down-regulating serum levels of CA125 and EmAb.
