Abstract

Objective:To study the effect of Mifepristone on adenomyosis.Methods:62 patients with adenomyosis was observed,each received 12.5 mg Mifepristone daily for 3 months.Results:During the treatment with Mifepristone,amenorrhea occurred,hemoglobin was improved,dysmenorrhea was cured and the volume of uterus decreased obviously.Menopause could be seen in perimenopausal women.Even the younger patients could be recurrent after stopng Mifepristone,it was still effective to repeat the therapy.Conclusion:Mifepristone is effective and safty in the treatment of adenomyosis.
