Abstract
Objective To observe the clinical effects of “Pentongling Decoction” in the treatment of pelvic pain following endometriosis and its influence on TXB2 and 6-Keto-PGF1α. Methods Thirty subjects were rectally given the Decoction. The clinical symptoms, TXB2 and 6-Keto-PGF1α were observed before and after treatment. Results Three cases got near-term cure, 16 cases marked effectiveness, 9 cases effectiveness and 2 cases failure; the total effective rate was 90%. TXB2 and 6-Keto-PGF1α dropped after treatment. Conclusion “Pentongling Decoction” has significant effects on pelvic pain, possibly by decreasing TXB2 and 6-Keto-PGF1α.
