Pregnancy results of infertility in endometriosis with gonadorelin release hormone analogue and in vitro fetilization

Abstract

AIM: To explore pregnancy results of infertility in endometriosis with gonadorelin release hormone analogue (GnRH A) in combination with in vitro fertilization (IVF). METHODS: In 5 patients, 3 patients suffered from adenomyosis. They were treated with GnRH A for 3 6 mo at first, once the patients's menstruation was coming and they were used controlled ovarian hyperstimulation (COH). When their follicles grow up to maturation, they were picked up and done IVF and embryo transfer. RESULTS: During ovulation, their PRL in blood insereased. All of patients got pregnancy and stayed in hospital for keeping embryos. Among them, 3 patients naturally labored and 2 patients aborted. CONCLUSION: IVF will be more effective after 3 6 mo treatment of infertility in endometriosis with GnRH A.
