Abstract
The disruptions of various supply chain due to the outbreak of COVID-19 have been incurring researchers and practitioners to reevaluating the benefits and risks involved in global sourcing and find ways to increase the supply chain resilience. Building on the dynamic capabilities perspective, this project proposes a conceptual model to identify the underlying mechanisms and factors that improve the resilience of supply chains, and increase the company’s performance accordingly. The theoretical model is empirically tested by analyzing a dataset included 276 companies in China. The results in study contribute to the literature by theoretically proposing and empirically testing a new theoretical model in identifying the intra-organizational antecedents of management capabilities and analyze the outcomes of supply chain resilience in improving performance. It also contributes to business practitioners by providing useful information and guidelines to enhance supply chain resilience.
