To evaluate the effect of endometriosis treat with traditional chinese medicine by transvaginal ultrasound

Objective To investigate the hemodynanic changes of uterine artery in patient with endometriosis treating with retention enema of chinese medicine. Methods Thirty-two endometriosis patients were examined with transvaginal ultrasonography. The resistance index (RI) of the uterine artery blood flow was determined before and after treatment. Results In endometriosis patients after treatment, the RI value of uterine artery in midduteal phase was significant different from that of pretreatment. Conclusions Retention enema with traditional chinese medicine not only improves patients clinical symptoms, but also decreases the RI value of uterine artery in the midluteal phase.
