Abstract

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of Compound Neiyi'ning combined with acupuncture in the treatment of adenomyosis dysmenorrheal, and to supply optimum proposal in clinical treatment. Methods Sixty-five cases were randomized into two groups: 33 cases in acupuncture-medicine group and 32 cases in Chinese medicine group were treated by Compound Neiyi'ning orally, and the cases in acupuncture-medicine group were treated by acupuncture and moxibustion additionally 1 week before menstruation and at the second day during menstruation, with the course of 6 months. The degree, intension and duration of dysmenorrhea were observed before and after treatment. Results After 3-month and 6-month treatment,no significant difference was found in clinical efficacy in PP and ITT in both of the groups(P0.05).After treatment, the degree, intension and duration of dysmenorrhea were improved significantly in both of the groups(P0.01),and the indexes in acupuncture-medicine group were better than that in Chinese medicine group. Conclusion Compound Neiyi'ning can alleviate the degree, intension of dysmenorrheal, and shorten the duration of dysmenorrheal, which can be the optimum proposal for the treatment of adenomyosis.
