Abstract
Objective To clarify the clinical features, ultrasonic imaging changes and prognosis of neoplasias arised from endometriosis(EM). Methods A total of 23 women with ovarian neoplasia arising from EM were analyzed retrospectively, including clinical, ultrosonic, pathological and prognostic data. Results The high risk factors of canceration in ovarian endometriosis include age 45 years, especially after menopaus, menoxenia, dysmenorrhea, pelvic mass increasing rapidly in a short time, tumor diameter 8 cm,papilla or rich in blood flow.Follow-up of patients with stage I(n=16),all did not prompt recurrence.Follow-up of patients with stage Ⅲ-Ⅳ(n=3),all dead. Conclusions The effective approach to dectect the neoplasia arising from ovarian EM in the early stage is to combine the clinical characteristics and the transvaginal sonography, which may be the most important.
