Abstract
A preterm neonate born at 24+5 weeks gestation developed congenital Candida krusei sepsis, diagnosed via placental culture, axillary swab, and elevated beta-glucan levels. Despite initial negative blood cultures, early antifungal therapy with amphotericin B and later micafungin was effective. Prompt diagnosis, HeRo monitoring, and tailored therapy ensured a favorable outcome, highlighting the importance of timely management in neonatal fungal infections.
