Abstract

Objective:To assess the effect and clinical value of telomerase activity in endometriosis interna. Methods:Using PCR-ELISA,we analyzed the expression of telomerase activity in eutopic and ectopic endometrial of 30 endometriosis interna patients, and compared with 20 cases from hysteromyoma patients.Results:(1)The difference of positive rate of telomerase ac tivity between experiment group and control group was significant(P0.0001).(2)Among experiment group, the positive rate of telomerase activity in severe patients was significantly higher than the rate of low-grade one(P0.05).(3)There was no significantly difference of expression of telomerase activity in eutopic and ectopic endometrial of experiment group(P0.05)(4)There was no significantly difference of expression of telomerase activity in eutopic and ectopic endometrial of low- grade cases(P0.05).Conclusion:Telomerase activity is closely associated with the course of endometriosis interna.
