Multi-port DC-DC converter modelling

Abstract

This paper is focused on bidirectional DC-DC converters in renewable energy systems. It discusses a triple active bridge (TAB) converter, including how to model, control, and simulate it. First, Kirchhoff's principles are used to identify the equations governing the converter's behaviour and then construct the system model. Next, the control system was developed using the plant's state-space representation. The closed-loop model Laplace transform and some simulator data provide the control technique. Finally, the simulator tools evaluate the system's stability and behaviour before and after management. The results show that the active converter may be used with renewable energy.
