PHENYL SULFAMATE DERIVATIVES

Phenyl sulfamate derivatives of general formula (I) or salts thereof, exhibiting an excellent steroid sulfatase inhibitory activity and being therefore effective in the prevention or treatment of diseases related to steroids including estrogen, e.g., mammary carcinoma, carcinoma of uterine body, endometrial hyperplasia, sterility, endometriosis, adenomyosis of uterus, autoimmune diseases, dementia, Alzheimer's disease and so on, wherein R1 and R2 are each independently hydrogen or lower alkyl; R3 is hydrogen, halogeno, lower alkyl, -OSO2NR1R2, lower alkanoylamino, nitro, or cyano; and A is substituted or unsubstituted phenyl, -X-NR4R5, or the like.
