Abstract

Gynecological anemia is caused by hypermenorrhea. Not only gynecological diseases such as uterine myoma, adenomyosis and endometrial hyperplasia but also polymenorrhea often show hypermenorrhea resulted in iron-deficiency anemia. Pregnant women often show iron-deficiency anemia. However, this anemia is known as a physiological one resulted in hemodilution with increased plasma volume during pregnancy to maintain utero-placental circulation.
