Efficacy of gestrinone on endometriosis

Objective To study the efficacy of gestrinone on endometriosis. Methods Sixty cases of endometriosis from August 2010 to August 2012 were selected and divided into the observation group（30 cases）and control group（30 cases）. The observation group was treated with gestrinone and the control group was treated with metroxyprogesterone. The clinical curative effect and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of observation group was 93. 3%,and that of control group was 73. 3%,the difference was significant. The focus of observation group after treatment was decreased significantly compared with the control group. The adverse reaction of observation group was slight,and relieved after drug withdrawal. Conclusions Gestrinone treatment for endometriosis is effective and is worthy of clinical application. Key words: Gestrinone ;  Endometriosis
