Abstract

43 cases of endometriosis, hystologically confirmed have been studied. Locations and symptoms of end.osis are here examined. It is observed the frequency of irregulary of bloody spotting in interna end.osis (adenomiosis). The use of androgen-therapy is advised to confirm the diagnosis and frequently to cure the end.osis. The urinary 17-ketosteroids were followed during androgen-therapy and it was observed that their values are descreasing notwithstanding the continued hormonal supplying. Surgical problem of endometriosis are reviewed. One case of malignancy (carcinosarcoma developed on adenomiosis) is presented.
