Abstract

The third McCurrich oration delivered at a meeting of the Regional Hospitals' Consultants and Specialists Association at the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, London, on 9 May 'An exception to this rule is any operation which tightens the internal urethral sphincter for the purpose of curing stress incontinence, but the mechanism of retention is then different.
