Cardiorespiratory symptoms in peripartum : think also about rare diagnosis !

Abstract

We report the case of a 23 years old primiparous woman that was admitted for shortness of breath after seven days post partum. preliminary diagnosis of pulmonary embolism was made. Patient condition worsens and got admitted to ICU without improvement. point of care ultrasounds has completely changed the outcome .
