Influência da nutrição e tratamento da endometriose: uma revisão sistemática

Introdução: A endometriose é uma doença ginecológica crônica e inflamatória que acomete cerca de 10% das mulheres em idade reprodutiva, com impacto significativo na qualidade de vida. Os tratamentos convencionais, baseados em terapias hormonais e intervenções cirúrgicas, frequentemente apresentam efeitos adversos e recorrência dos sintomas, o que motiva a busca por estratégias complementares, como a intervenção nutricional. Objetivo: Analisar as evidências científicas sobre a influência da nutrição no tratamento da endometriose, identificando nutrientes, compostos bioativos e padrões alimentares com potencial terapêutico. Métodos: Revisão sistemática realizada nas bases de dados PubMed, BVS e Periódicos CAPES, abrangendo o período de 2020 a 2025. Utilizaram-se os descritores Endometriosis, Diet e Treatment. Após a aplicação dos critérios de elegibilidade, foram incluídos 33 estudos. Resultados: Os achados indicam que dietas anti-inflamatórias, especialmente a dieta mediterrânea, bem como o consumo de ácidos graxos ômega-3, antioxidantes (vitaminas C, D e E), fibras, fitoestrógenos e compostos bioativos como curcumina e resveratrol, estão associados à redução da dor pélvica, da inflamação e do estresse oxidativo, além de contribuírem para a melhora da qualidade de vida. Em contrapartida, dietas ricas em gorduras saturadas, açúcares e alimentos ultraprocessados demonstram associação com o agravamento dos sintomas. Entretanto, a heterogeneidade metodológica entre os estudos limita a formulação de recomendações clínicas definitivas. Conclusão: A alimentação desempenha papel adjuvante
