Facility Characteristics Associated with Clozapine Utilization

Facility characteristics and their association with clozapine administration were examined using the publicly available 2020 N-MHSS survey by SAMHSA. Characteristics were primarily chosen based on past literature and analyzed using a multiple logistic regression. Information was collected on each variable's correlation to facility clozapine administration as well as the overall model's performance using metrics based on its AUC-ROC graph. Results indicated that medical resources were highly predictive of a facility prescribing clozapine and that supportive/auxiliary services, such as integrated care and administrative support, were negligible.
