Abstract
Objective:To compare the effect of adjusting menstrual cycle and combined contraceptives on treating adolescent dysfunctional uterine bleeding and to observe the security of two methods. Methods: 85 patients with adolescent dysfunctional uterine bleeding were randomly divided into A group(50 cases): artificial methods to regulate menstruation cycle;B group(35 cases): treated by combined oral contraceptives, giving six cycles of treatment. The total effective rate of two groups was compared, and observed bleeding time once medication terminated and the incidence of adverse reactions. Results:The total effective rate of group A(94.0%) was significantly higher than group B(62.9%)(P0.01),while bleeding time after medication stopped and the incidence of adverse reactions during the treatment time had no significant difference(P0.05).Conclusion: The artificial cycle is an effective and safe methods for treating adolescent dysfunctional uterine bleeding, which should be recommended in clinical therapy.
