Aloe ×vera: A New High Gel Yielding Natural Hybrid of Aloe vera from CSIR- NBRI Botanical Garden

Abstract
In recent years, plant breeders have been developing new hybrids of Aloe vera to increase the yield of the plant's gel. One natural hybrid Aloe ×vera has been shown to yield at least two times more gel than traditional A. vera plants. This hybrid has been carefully selected to combine the desirable traits of several different A. vera varieties, resulting in a plant with a higher gel content and a more robust growth habit and disease resistance. The increased gel yield of this hybrid is highly desirable for commercial cultivation, as it can significantly improve the efficiency of gel processing operations. Additionally, this hybrid has been found to possess enhanced medicinal properties, making it an ideal choice for the health and wellness industry. Overall, the development of this high-yielding hybrid represents a significant advancement in the field of plant breeding and offers exciting opportunities for those involved in the A. vera industry.
