Mutation Analysis and Characteristics of the 5T Allele in the Cystic Fibrosis Trans Membrane Gene

Abstract
Mutation in cystic fibrosis was associated with the T allele, causing abnormalities in mRNA of cystic fivbrosis and on Congenital Bivariate vas Deferens (CBAVD). Purpose of this paperwas to determine mutations in the 5T allele in the cystic fibrosis trans membranegene. This study used 500 married men with CBAVD who had regular sex reported being infertile as samples. All of the patients shared these traits, including impalpability of the scrotal vas deferens, low volume and pH levels in the semen. DNA was extracted in the laboratory from 3–5 ml of pre-processed blood lymphocytes. The next steps are gel-gradient electrophoresis, PCR, and extraction. It was discovered that the 5T allele had a mutation. From the results of the research conducted, mutations or changes in amino acids were found in the 5T allele and cystic fibrosis trans membrane. Information on the frequency of the 5T allele in various populations of sample was available. Other visible result were the cystic fibrosis trans membrane Intron 8 gene PCR outcomes.
