Abstract

Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) in intermediate and advanced stages remains a therapeutic challenge. Hepatic artery infusion chemotherapy (HAIC) is a well-established locoregional therapy for unresectable HCC. HAIC, either alone or in combination with systemic therapies, has shown encouraging therapeutic outcomes for the treatment of HCC patients with intermediate and advanced diseases in recent studies. This review summarizes the clinical advances in HAIC for HCC, highlighting HAIC regimens and their therapeutic outcomes.
