Abstract

This study addresses challenges in delivering physical and occupational therapy services within a rural healthcare setting. A strategic planning intervention was developed and implemented at a Critical Access Hospital to improve service utilization. The intervention incorporated community needs assessment, internal resource analysis, and strategic marketing frameworks to overcome barriers such as low awareness and negative perceptions. Results highlight the potential of targeted strategies to optimize allied health services in resource-limited environments.
