The Effect of Dysmenorrhea Associated with Endometriosis Treated by the Abdominal Acupuncture and Infrared Therapy

Abstract

Objective The main purpose of the study is to observe the effect on relieving dysmenorrhea using the abdominal acupuncture and infrared therapy in patients with endometriosis. Methods The 62 cases of dysmenorrhea associated with endometriosis were divided into the treated group and the control group stochastically. Before and after the treatments the patients wrote the table of integrals with dysmenorrhea, the blood serum level of CA125 was observed. Results After the treatments, both two groups had the drop of table of integrals with dysmenorrhea. There was statistics significance difference in the groups comparison (P0.05). The Syndrome of cold coagulation and blood stasis was best. And both two groups had the drop of the blood serum level of CA125. There was statistics significance difference in the group own comparison (P0.05). Conclusion Abdominal acupuncture can relieve the dysmenorrhea associated with endometriosis effectively, obviously lower the blood serum level of CA125.
