Abstract

Objective To investigate the clinical effects and safety of gestrinone in combination with iaparoscopic operation in the treatment of pelvic endometriosis.Methods 78 cases who were diagnosed endometriosis by Laparoscopy were devided into two groups: the study group(n=45) and the control group(n=33).All cases were treated by laparoscopy.After operation,the cases of study group were given 2.5 mg of gestrinone at the 3th day,twice a week for 3~6months.The cases of control group had not taken any hormone.Results All cases were successfully treated by laparoscopic operation.After 3~6 months of treatment,the clinical symptoms of study group improved obviously,total effective rate was 91.1%,the recurrence rate and the side effect rate of treatment all were 8.9%.3 of 7 cases with the secondary infertility had pregnancy in study group.In the control group,the total effective rate was 60.6%,the recurrence rate was 39.4%.Only 1 of 6 cases with the secondary infertility had pregnancy in the control group.Conclusion Gestrinone orally postoperation is a safe and effeltive therapeutic means for pelvic endometriosis,and can significantly decrease the recurrence rate and increase the pregnancy rate.
