Abstract

OBJECTIVE To make sure the expression differences of migration inhibitory factor(MIF)in endometriums and ectopic endometriums of patients with EMT of blood stasis and related main complication syndromes(blood stasis, blood stasis due to qi stagnation, and blood stasis due to kidney deficiency)and discuss molecular mechanism of EMT in different syndromes.METHODS Immunohistochemical technique was applied to 18patients with EMT of different types(6cases in each group)and other 6normal women. The expression of MIF in endometrium and ectopic endometrium tissues of the 18patients and that in endometrium tissues of the 6women were studied.RESULTS after MIT in EMT endometrium of different types and control group were compared, there was a statistic significance in differences between blood stasis due to kidney deficiency group and control group(P0.05)but no statistic significance in differences between other groups(P0.05).After ectopic endometriums of the 18patients compared with control group, there was a statistic significant difference between blood stasis due to kidney deficiency group and other groups(P0.05)and no statistic significant difference between other groups(P 0.05).CONCLUSION There were differences in the expression of MIF of different EMT syndromes, which may be one of the molecular biological bases for differentiating different types and may also provide diagnostic reference in clinic.
