Abstract

Objective: To explore the value of complicated pelvic endometriosis by laparoscopic surgery.Method: The methodology of the laparoscopic surgery of advanced and complicated pelvic endometriosis was described in details,the short-term results of the management were evaluated.Result: 88 cases of advanced endometriosis were managed laparoscopically.The average operation time is 104.7±50.6min.All cases were performed by laparoscopic surgery without conversion during the operation.The average blood loss was 55 ±23ml.Conclusion: The large endometrioma(diameter8cm) could be removed completely by laparoscopic surgery and the obliterated pouch of Douglas can be safely dissected by bipolar electrocoagulator.
