Abstract
OBJECTIVE: To observe the therapeutic efficacy and safety of mifepristone after the laparoscopic surgery of endometriosis. METHODS: 72 patients received laparoscopic surgery. All patients were randomly divided into group A (mifepristone 12.5 mg, qd, 3 months) and group B (gestrinone 2.5 mg, twice a week, 3 months). The therapeutic efficacy and adverse drug reactions were compared between 2 groups. RESULTS: The remission rate and improvement rate of group A were similar to those of group B(P0.05). But the recurrence rate of group A was significantly lower than that of group B(P0.05). After treatment, the incidence of acne, irregular vaginal bleeding, abnormal transaminases, weight gain and other adverse drug reactions in group A were significantly lower than in group B. There was statistical difference between 2 groups (P0.05). CONCLUSION: The therapeutic efficacy and safety of mifepristone after the laparoscopic surgery of endometriosis is better.
