The application value of transvaginal hydrolaparoscopy in diagnosis of infertility

Abstract
Objective:To explore the application value of transvaginal hydrolaparoscopy(THL) in diagnosis of infertility.Methods:150 infertile cases who had visited outpatient department of the institute from May 2009 to October 2010 were selected,then they received THL examination at 3~7 days after menstruation,the recanalization of fallopian tube and pelvic conditions of the cases were observed.Results:Among 150 infertile cases,142 cases were successful in the first puncture,the success rate was 94.67%,65 cases were found with obstruction,hydrosalpinx and narrow opening of fallopian tube,accounting for 45.77%;13 cases were found with bilateral adhesion of fallopian tubes,accounting for 9.15%;22 cases were found with unilateral adhesion of fallopian tubes,accounting for 15.49%;15 cases were found with bilateral adhesion of ovaries,accounting for 10.56%;26 cases were found with unilateral adhesion of ovaries,accounting for 18.31%;33 cases were found with pelvic adhesion,accounting for 23.24%;9 cases were found with endometriosis,accounting for 6.34%.Conclusion:THL is a kind of valuable techniques for observing pelvic structure,surrounding conditions of fallopian tube and ovary and the recanalization of fallopian tube,it is minimally invasive,visualized,accurate and safe,which is worthy to be popularized.
