The genome sequence of a darkling beetle, Diaperis boleti (Linnaeus, 1758)

Abstract
We present a genome assembly from one male Diaperis boleti (darkling beetle; Arthropoda; Insecta; Coleoptera; Tenebrionidae). The genome sequence spans 542.60 megabases. Most of the assembly is scaffolded into 8 chromosomal pseudomolecules, including the X and Y sex chromosomes. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled and is 15.42 kilobases in length.
