Abstract

Abstract Multiview wavelets based on voxel patterns of autostereoscopic multiview three-dimensional (3D) displays are proposed. Direct and inverse continuous wavelet transforms of binary and grayscale multiview images were performed. With modified wavelet coefficients, 3D images with the changed parallax and depth were obtained. Multiview images were displayed using lenticular plates. The visual picture confirms the correctness of all synthesized images. The results can be applied to various types of autostereoscopic 3D displays.
