Abstract

In this research, we reported synthesis of NASA@Cr(III) nanoparticles using natural asphalt. Characterization of this heterogeneous nanocatalyst was performed using various analysis including FT-IR, SEM, EDX, XRD, TGA and BET techniques. Then activity of the NASA@Cr(III) nanoparticles in the chemoselective oxidation of sulfides, was investigated. Use of this nanocatalyst for the oxidation of sulfides have features such as green condition, high yield, low time and reusability of the catalyst for the several times.
