Sezaryen Sonrası İnsizyon Skarında Endometriozis Olgusu – Olgu Sunumu

Objective: In this article, we aimed to draw attention to the rare cesarean section scar line endometriosis.Method: A 27-year-old patient with a history of 3 previous cesarean deliveries came to our outpatient clinic with complaints of palpable mass swelling on the left side of the Pfannenstiel incision line, and cyclic pain during menstrual periods, which appeared after the last cesarean section. In addition, the patient stated that the existing mass tended to grow continuously.Results: In the superficial tissue ultrasound, a finding consistent with endometriosis was detected. The patient was operated and the existing focus was surgically excised with 1 cm of healthy tissue around it. The material was sent to pathology. The final pathology result was reported as endometriosis.Conclusion: In the evaluation of masses located close to the incision lines, especially in patients with a history of the previous operation, it should be questioned whether there are complaints of increasing pain during menstrual periods and endometriosis should be considered.
